Looking for pilots willing to help get a Weimaraner in Warren,OH to a rescue in St Louis,MO anytime after Thurs. He just had surgery on his leg yesterday and vet will release him to travel by Thurs. Looking at a 4 leg trip (lengths are flexible). Warren to Columbus,OH to Indpls to mid-IL to St Louis. [map:44481-63101]

I have a flight with an empty seat this weekend from the Cincinnati area to Bellesville, Ill, just over the river from St. Louis. Can I have some specifics, such as animal weight, carrier restrictions, special needs? Is someone available to transport from Warren to just south of Dayton?

Hi Mike,
The dog weighs 57 lbs. He had some leg surgery the 6th, so he would be better off traveling with a harness and not crated. Would you be able to take him if he is tethered rather than crated? What airport would you need him at and when?
I'll see if that can be arranged just in case.

I base out of I68, or Warren Lebanon airport in Lebanon, Ohio. Dayton Wright Bros. is just north and might be closer... the other option is we could meet somewher closer to you.

If this looks like it might be a problem transfer, i.e east-to-west... let's see if we can get it done. I have no problem w/ a harness over a crate, just need to be sure dog is comfortable and won't thrash around too much.
