Julianne,

In looking over the posts, it looks like Gary is based at Tipton, just north of DC. If he would prefer, we could fly the pups there instead of the Eastern Shore. We're flexible.

Rick,
That would be excellent. Warren Field would be amazing! That's the closest airport and this is only the 2nd flight that I've been able to get a pilot that close to me! YAY! It looks like it will be at least two puppies & probably a 3rd. Gary, which airport will work best for you?

Rick,

Easton would be a little easier for me, but Salisbury would work as well, so your choice. I'll plan on meeting you at 12:00 at either location, and will then take the dogs
to NJ.

Jerry - Are you still available for the last leg? Is Readington, NJ okay? I could also bring them to So. Jersey Regional if you'd prefer that.

Rick - Just noticed this post after I had submitted my last one. If you can bring them into KFME, that would absolutely great. I usually mention the other airports because they are outside of the
DC SFRA. The SFRA rules do intimidate some folks. If you're flying IFR it's not a real issue, but VFR still requires a special SFRA flight plan. Also, FAA requires anyone flying within 60 miles of the SFRA to take a short on-line course.

Anyway - FME would be outstanding, but ESN or SBY would work if you prefer to stay outside the SFRA.

Gary,

No problem. I'm based at Leesburg, so I'm familiar with the SFRA. I'll file IFR. I know they'll jerk me all over the place, but it should be a nice day for flying, so who cares? How about we plan on meeting at KFME at 11:30 or 12:00. My cell phone is 301-938-2003 just in case there is a snafu. My tail number is N229TT. Looking forward to meeting you on Saturday.

Thanks Gary. That would be great. It might be closer to 12:00 depending on how long it takes us to load up the pups in NC and how cooperative ATC is.

Does everyone have crates? The two smaller pups will be fine in small crates (cat carrier size) and the other pup would need a medium crate. If anyone doesn't have any crates I can send them in a crate but if you've got them then that would work better as I wouldn't be able to get my crates back which is okay but don't want to send crates up if the pilots have them! Let me know & I'll start getting that straight. Thanks.

Hi Juoianne,

No, we don't have any crates and will need them. We generally have been picking dogs up in crates and passing them off at the receiving end in the same crates, so we never have our own. If you can spare them, that would be great. I don't know what Gary's situation is. If he doesn't have crates, then we would just pass them on to him.

Hi All - I have two small crates and a medium one.
Julianne - how large is the Collie? Also, do we know yet if Jerry is available for the 3rd leg on Saturday?
I'm also available for Sunday if we need to delay for some reason.
