Number of animals being transported: 1
Breeds, weight, age: Aust. Cattle Dog, approx 2, 40 lbs
Health Condition: Good
Heart worm Status: neg
Vaccinations: yes
Health Certificate: yes
Spay/Neutered: not yet
Special needs: none
Name of Sending & Receiving Rescue/Parties: Foster to Forever home
Contact information (publicly viewable on forum): [email protected]
Additional Info/situation:

This dog, Cody, was saved from being PTS. Adopter in Maine needs help to get him from a temporary foster to her. I am with a rescue group and if we know Cody can get at least part way (i.e. NH, MA) we can then work to coordinate ground transport volunteers to get him to his forever home.

UPDATE: Cody is clear for travel 11/22. His surgery was cancelled, so he will be intact and neutered on arrival. He has a slight kennel cough now, being treated, and will be fine by travel time.

UPDATE: THANK YOU!!!! Cody is set for his route to his forever home. Much appreciation to all who replied!

If someone can get the dog from Elmira to Albany, I can take him from Albany to Portland - weather permitting, of course

Thank you!!!
We may be able to do that and I will keep you informed.
Cody is in transition from shelter to a temporary foster home and we do not yet know how flexible the foster home is on time and potentially driving a leg. He should be clear for travel 11/21, and the question is how much flexibility we have given the holiday. I will be in touch as soon as I know and THANK YOU!

I can probably do the Elmira to Albany run. Again, depending on weather. What time works?

Jim,
Thanks so much! I marked this as "Done" today because we nailed down transport. Not sure on when I am supposed to, but I am guessing I can even remove the listing (new here). It looks like we are all set and I know all of us involved in Cody's liberation appreciate your offer!
Best
Gina
