Recent storms in NC damage close to home.

Hi guys (and girls). The storms today were apparently severe enough to snap my tie downs and essentially completely destroy my Tomahawk at KLHZ. While I am insured, it still stinks to see a plane destroyed like that. I am glad that I got to help out at least one four legged friend and tried a couple of other times. I doubt I will be an airplane owner anytime soon, too expensive for me with the economy. We'll see how things go.

Wow...sorry to hear that. Those storms really tore through the southeast. I'm glad to hear you had insurance to cover your loss.

We lost a few planes as a tornado went thru our airport in Lantana Fla, in West Palm Beach. Took this as I was checking on my beloved Arrow. Mother Nature took pity on us and spared my baby. Total bummer my friend. I feel your pain!!!
