OKC Co-pilot

Hello all,

I am currently a student pilot flying out of OKC's Wiley Post Airport. My checkride has been scheduled, then rescheduled, discontinued, and is now finally scheduled again for next week. I am looking for some other pilots in the OKC area that wouldn't mind letting me tag along to earn more cross-country experience and to get an idea on how the transports take place. I hope that by partnering up with an experienced PNP member I can gain some knowledge on how to make my future solo flights a lot more enjoyable for everyone involved. I am not instrument rated YET, but plan to start that as soon as I pass my checkride. I see this as a great way to earn some valuable flying experience, help out a great cause, and to help share the costs of flying will other fellow PNP members. So I had to reschedule my checkride again today. The winds today at the time of my exam were reported as 19025G31 up at PWA. Hopefully it will be soon. Thanks to those who have contacted me via email about trying to get something put together.

It finally happened . I was able to take my checkride on Sunday. Everything went well and I now have my PPL. If there is anyone in OKC or surrounding areas that wouldn't mind letting me tag along for a few flights to learn the ropes for PNP then please let me know. I'm fully willing to share all costs when I am aboard. I did all my training in a 172, but I am going to start doing some work in a Cherokee 140 starting this week.
