Dogs need rescue from Turks and Caicos

Postby mlightfine on Thu Jan 29, 2009 2:33 pm

For over sixteen years Elaine has been providing dogs and cats with diligent care on Grand Turk Island. Now she and the animals have not only been struggling post hurricane without electriciy but Elaine is loosing her shelter because of progress and development. Now all the animals need homes and the Island inhabitants have adopted as many as they can. Anyone interested in flying about 750 nautical miles (from New Smyrna Beach, FL to Grand Turk Island, TCI) over open water please contact me. Help will be needed over the next several months. I am helping Elaine organize these efforts and will be picking up 2 dogs and 2 cats February 6th, 2009. Mary 386-304-0533 http://www.VolunteersWithoutBoundaries.com
