Just thought I'd post this where others can see...I can get the 25th (anytime, earlier = better) from Houston (DWH) to Alexandria (2L0 looks nice)...or about halfway. Assuming VFR weather, and it looks promising.
The pilot map looks a little empty in that area...anyone from Jackson or maybe New Orleans that could do the other half? Lafayette is a doable destination as well, if that is more convenient for anyone, especially NOLA pilots. (Lafayette would actually be better for us flying, but Alexandria is much better for a driver, if the second leg is done via road...)
