NC to Maryland - dog transport to new home

Post by stephanieseymour » Mon Oct 19, 2009 10:03 pm

Rescue dog needs a ride from Greenville, NC 27858 to CT. I have one pilot that has volunteered to do the 2nd half of the leg. He can pick the dog up in either Maryland or Virginia. The dog is a Springer Spaniel named Rusty that is being rescued. The dog approximately 40 pounds has a crate and leash. Rusty's owner was no longer able to afford him. A family from Norwalk CT is adopting him.

Bill,
Could you meet me at FCI (Chesterfield VA.)? I can take Rusty the rest of the way to CT.
This Friday late afternoon would work for me. Saturday the weather isn't looking good. Sunday could also work.

Success!!!! Rusty arrived in CT yesterday and spent his first night in his new home. Many thanks Ed Abrams for picking him up in NC and bring him to our family!!!
Rusty is noted on the www.pittfriends.com website as a success story.
