Re: Cabool Mo to Castle Rock Colorado
I am based in Denver and could help with the last leg of this route. We will need another pilot to get the dogs to somewhere in Kansas (like Salina or Hutchinson).
I am available most weekends through December for a flight.

I could help get the dogs from Kansas City to Salina. I can only fly during the week, but I have a foster that I've used many times in Salina.

Re: Cabool Mo to Castle Rock Colorado
Sounds like we can make this work.
A few logistical items to work out. I am available Saturday and Sunday the 5th and 6th. However as of now, the weather is not looking great for Saturday Morning in Denver (but that often changes). So Sarah, if your foster can keep the dogs for more than a night, a Sunday trip would work. Sarah, are you available to make the flight this week? -- Say Friday. If not, I am available the weekend of the 12th as well.
I also need some info on how these dogs will be traveling. Will they each have a restraint or a crate? What type of dogs are they? If they are puppies and chewing alot, we may need a soft muzzle if they aren't crated. If they are crated, then I will need some dimensions of the crates to make sure I can fit all three.

Re: Cabool Mo to Castle Rock Colorado
I work all weekend, so I normally transport Monday-Wednesday. I'm VFR only, so we'll need good weather. We also still need transport to KC. The forecast is still a ways out for the 8th and 9th, but it's calling for IFR. The following week, I am moving so it would have to wait until the next week.

Hi you guys, want to tell you a bit about these puppies. They can travel in crates, in fact will need to. They have been severely abused and will be terribly scared. They are still mistrustful of people and given a chance they might bolt. They huddle and shake when you touch them. Their weights are 34lbs, 40lbs and 41lbs. We can provide crates, and I will get dimensions on those for you by tomorrow.
Let me know what else you need information wise.

Re: Cabool Mo to Castle Rock Colorado
Hi Sue, I will need exact crate dimensions. Also, how are the dogs getting to KC? Do you have any specific dates in mind? If I can't get accomplished on the 8th or 9th, I'm not going to be able to help until the week of Christmas.

Hi Sarah, crate dimensions are 22" tall x 22" wide x 29" long.
I am not sure how we are going to get them to KC. Its a 5 hour drive from us here.
If we could get them there, where in KC would they need to get to?

Re: Cabool Mo to Castle Rock Colorado
So that is 3 crates of that size? I'm busy the week of the 13th and Adam is busy the week of the 20th. Do these dogs need to be moved immediately? If we could wait until after the holidays that might work better. It would also give you some time to try to find a pilot to KC instead of having to drive them. I fly out of Olathe, KS, so that is where I would want them if you're driving, but I can fly to another local airport to meet another pilot if necessary. I don't check this forum all the time, so if you need to get ahold of me email is better for coordination.
