Red Oak, IA (RDK) fuel discount and dog-friendly

We flew from FCM (Minneapolis area) to RDK to rescue a puppy and bring it to rescue just northwest of Minneapolis. The FBO in Red Oak gave us a fuel discount because they considered our flight equivalent to an Angel Flight which they provide fuel discounts for. It was not given at the time of our flight, but instead they send you a check for the rebate which I got about a month later.

We brought the pup inside while we paid for fuel and made a pit stop, and no one minded at all. There were a bunch of guys hangar flying and eating donuts, so it was a great chance to talk about animal rescue flights!
