Ranger is a young male German Shorthaired Pointer that has had a rough start on life.

Thankfully, he was brought to Rescues attention while at the Emporia KS shelter. A kind volunteer there has agreed to help with his transport to his new forever home in Chicago, IL.

We would like to move Ranger as soon as possible as shelter life is not benefiting him. As ground transport has fallen apart, I am hoping that he can fly home!

Thank you so much for your consideration and the work that you do! I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Liz

Hello, I could help transport to the Kirksville, MO (IRK) area, if that would help.

Monday the 8th, is calling for light rain and snow, and I don't feel like flying a popsicle, so let's shoot for either the 9th or 10th! :)

Working on Wednesday to Kansas City with you Sarah to perhaps meet other pilot Craig in St. Louis.

I am waiting on word as to ground volunteers, to keep Ranger until Saturday the 13th or just drive him to IL from there. How would I find a pilot for that Saturday to do the St. Louis to DVN should we need a ride?

Thanks so much again guys, really appreciate your help! This boy has been waiting a LONG time

Liza, it looks like the St. Louis option for this week has fallen through. They are not going to be able to fly until next week. I can still fly Ranger to Kirksville this week though, if we can get him a ride from there. Or we can wait until next week, and go with the St. Louis option.

shoot
I think that the 'gang' is working on finding people in St. Louis. to foster/drive. I will let them know.

Ranger may have to go to paid boarding in KS while we work on this. I don't feel comfortable having him take up valuable space. As wonderful and accommodating as this shelter is, he is still taking room away from a dog that needs it.

If I can get Ranger to boarding can you and Sam and HOPEFULLY a third pilot lend a hand? Although, I still have no one answering me on the Kirksville to Moline run

Love your thoughts on this guys :)
