1300 nm from Kentucky to Montana Complete for Fern

Fern started her journey on St. Patrick's day in Kentucky. She arrived at her forever home in Montana at 11:00 PM Mountain time on 3/20/10. Even though she is deaf, she loves to play with the laser light or little balls rolling across the floor.

Thank you to everyone that helped in preparing and transporting Fern across this long distance.

Stephanie Gilbert:
from Dreamland Animal Rescue- posted Fern on Deaf Animals website and coordinated Fern's move from the rescue providing her with all the necessary shots and records, and travel items needed for a trip.

Roger Gilber:
Transported Fern from Dreamland Animal Rescue in Whitesburg Kentuck to Hazard Kentucky via car. (Thanks for the pictures)


Doug Eddins:
Pilot that flew Fern from Hazard Kentucky to Louisville Kentucky on his own plane. (Thanks for the pictures).

Elizabeth OConnell:
Fostered Fern the night of March 17th and dropped Fern off at the airport to meet Mike McGrath.

Mike McGrath:
Pilot that flew Fern from Louisville Kentucky to St. Louis Missouri in his own plane. (Thanks for the pictures).

Sandy Michaels:
Helped to coordinate and pick up Fern (American Eskimo Rescue Volunteers)

Ed Girou:
Picked up Fern fromthe airport from pilot Mike McGrath and foster care for Fern in St. Louis.

Patrick McCallister:
Helped to coordinate Fern's pick up from the airport in St. Louis.

Erin Bakanas:
Dropped Fern off at Airport to meet with Lindsey (Adopter) in St. Louis.

Caleb Berhmann:
Pilot that prepared to take Fern from St. Louis Missouri to Lincoln Nebraska (rented plane)- weather didn't cooperate, but he was able to meet us at the airport and greet Fern.

Rhonda Carlson:
Prepared to foster Fern in Lincoln Nebraska. Weather prevented actual fostering, but thank you for preparing your home for a rescue cat.

Mike Flow:
Pilot that prepared to take Fern from Lincoln Nebraska to Billings Montana in his own plane- weather didn't cooperate, but thank you for preparing flight plans and coordinating via email.

Delta Airlines:
Final transport in cabin of Fern from St. Louis Missouri to Billings Montana with Lindsey (adopter).
