Cold Noses Warm Beds/Beady Singer - NEW LINK

Postby CantStopTheSignal on Mon Feb 01, 2010 7:34 pm

The following post has probably already been removed from Craiglist, but I encourage you to watch the video and distribute the information as widely as possible.

I contacted CNWB as an adopter, and had pretty much the same experience. I hope that seeing Beady at work will convince people for once and for all. PLEASE STOP HER!

Cold Noses Warm Beds Info Date: 2010-02-01, 9:25AM

Cold Noses Warm Beds is a "rescue" located in Langley, BC. They work with various L.A. based rescue groups to bring dogs from California to B.C. to rehome them. The dogs are pulled from shelters and most of the people in the U.S. believe that they are doing good things. But CNWB is selling dogs with no home checks, no name checks, nothing.

The woman in this video gave a false name, false email, false address. Nothing about her story was true. She purchased 2 dogs from CNWB and immediately took them to the vet, where one needed surgery to help an infected neuter site. She told CNWB that the dogs were for an elderly, immobile father for his 70th birthday as a surprise for him (rescuers worst nightmare) and she was given 2 dogs with NO hassles.

The operator of CNWB then posted that the dogs were going to "a family home where they will work in agility". This is NOT true. The 2 dogs in this video, Pepe and Tiny, are long gone now and are safe and sound.

This is NOT rescue and this needs to be stopped. I'd also like to point out that this woman is NOT affiliated with the BCSPCA as she states in the video.

Please, send this out to as many people as you can, this MUST be stopped.

**EDIT- the motionbox video was removed, but it was also posted to YouTube. Please also note the the CNWB website (http://www.coldnoseswarmbeds.org) is currently DOWN. Please spread the word!

Cold Noses Warm Beds web site is operating just fine at this posting. Also, CNWB is listing Pilots N Paws as an "important contact" on their site. I don't know if you want your name associated with this so-called rescue or not.

I do know that the dog rescue world is abuzz on many sites with hatred and venom for the Cold Noses Warm Beds thing. Pilots N Paws is a great organization that helped educate me about animal transport. I hate to see your good name dragged through the mud slinging that seems to be inevitable.

This kind of story is appalling mainly because of the deception taking place. There are plenty of good homes up in BC for our animals, but plenty of bad homes as well. It blows my mind to see the kind of neglect people use when they are acting under the cloak of doing something humane. Disgusting.
