"special" email from a new lady friend

I had a first today. A email from a special new lady friend steering me to a website. Be careful out there. Do not follow links.

Who was it? Is it something we should be alert to? We try to block the wrong people from access to our site and emails.

I do not believe this message was sent by the website. It seems that someone simply typed ‘www.pilotsnpaws.org’ in the subject line, which anyone can do.

Unfortunately, there is no way to prevent someone from, creating an account on the forum, gathering email address of other registered users, and sending email to them.

Many of the ‘work at home’ schemes you see involve gathering email address, and sending a message (like this one) to as many people as you can, and building a database of email addresses. This list is sold to as many spammers as will pay for it.
