It would be wonderful to fill everyone's plane. If you know of an approved facility between New Orleans and line to central Florida please let me know asap. Send an email to [email protected] with Florida Rescue for PNP event in the subject line.

Thanks!!

I posted before I saw this. We at The Humane Society Naples in SW Florida are ready to help out. We're south of Central FL but can take in some dogs. What constitutes an approved facility? I'm sure we'd qualify.

Thanks!

Debi:

I sent an email asking if any pilots out my way (Arizona) might be participating in the event. I'm hoping my girl might be able to hop a ride back with them. I'm sure your email is full and I'm not sure my subject line would have grabbed your attention so I thought I'd post here. Thanks!

There is a small chance I might be able to help Patricia C out.

Currently, I'm volunteering to take 4 or 5 smalls from KMAI -> KPIE for the Pinellas Humane Society on the 9/18 Fly-Away.
The KMAI -> KPIE flight for Pinellas-HS is already locked in. And 4 or 5 smalls is the limit in my little Cherokee

I "might" be able to return on Sunday 9/19 and take 4 or 5 smalls from KMAI to Naples or Sarasota, since she's offering the shelter space.
I co-op my plane, so I won't be sure if it's available for the second flight until late in the game.

Craig......

Just thinking out loud here, would you be available for KMEM area to Kewanee IL?

I know we have some animals going to KMEM, but also some to KEZI. A Mooney pilot may do the KNEW leg and if he can also fit the KEZI perhaps a relay?

If not I was going to do both, but if it works I can get freed up to do KNEW to KJHW. We are not always so unsure because when requests for transport are posted we usually know the passenger load. This is a case where the animals are likely still not identified because they may not even be at the rescue or shelter.

I see that there may be a need to transport dogs from KLAL to locations in south Florida. That would be a good route for us. I am based at KMLB, Piper PA28R200. Let me know
