Looking to help

Post by N42pz » Sun Apr 10, 2011 7:30 pm

We moved to the Cape Coral/Fort Myers Florida area 10 months ago. We have not received any requests to assist in transports. What are we doing wrong? We have an RV7 so we can only take smaller dogs (sorry Rottweilers) but have transported Pekingese, Pomeranians, Puggles, and Bostons in the past.

Did you put in a distance in your profile? This helps trigger what messages you may be getting to your email that you put in the profile. Try expanding it if you want to see other options. You may not find dogs leaving FMY...but there are a lot in the Tampa/Orlando and Miami/FLL area that go North. Just depends on how far you want to go.

Yes, we have posted 250 miles as the distance we can fly but I'll try uping it a bit to see if it triggers any requests.

Try listing your airport id as upper case KFMY instead of kfmy. I can't remember if I programmed it to ignore case, but I know that the airport database is all upper case.
