**Done** 2 Lab Puppies - RDU to Long Island, NY area

Post by mmforlabs » Sun Feb 15, 2009 1:29 pm

Two female black lab pups need to get to their forever home. They have been pulled from a kill shelter in Fayetteville, NC but can get a ride to RDU or other nearby airport. Adopter lives on Long Island, NY but is willing to drive some to pick them up and is available anytime after this Friday, 2/20 to pick them up. Dogs weigh 40lb and 41lbs.
Thank you for considering them! [map:28301-11570]

Would they fit under an airline seat?

Unfortunately no, they are estimated to be 4-5 months old, so too big for that but thank you for asking!

A pilot has offered to pick these pups up at the half-way point (Gaithersburg, MD) and take them the rest of the way! Can anyone get them from NC (Fayetteville or Raleigh area) to MD?

I have 2 rescue flights scheduled this weekend (Sat & Sun) from NC and SC to LI. I do not know yet whether there is room on the plane for them, but will try to find out and will get back to you.
