Rules and Regs for MA

Hi Everyone!!

I'm a volunteer transport coordinator in North Carolina and need to find out what the rules/regulations are for flying pups into the state of MA. I want to make sure everything is lined up correctly so my PNP Angel is good to go to enter MA with my NC pup.

Leslie, each state has different requirements and they often change. We have the USDA link under our Guidelines section, and in the information you accept during the registration process. Here is that link for you:

That being said, some states have rules beyond what the USDA requires (normally proof of recent rabies and a current health certificate). It is best to check with the state veterinarian or the group you are working with in order to find out if there are any other requirements. Some require licensing, others do not, etc. Doing a google search might give you the information you are seeking as well. Thank you for checking!
