Hi All:
My first post, so be kind! We're trying to get a rescued 5 year old Bearded Collie female from the West Palm Beach area to the Raleigh, NC area or any help between.
Thank you so much,

Kimberly -
contact herbfuchs - he is based out of KRDU (Raleigh). He is doing a Dobie transport for us from Raleigh to Kissimmee, FL April 8th. I can;t speak for him but far as I know- he would have an empty crate and might be able to bring your dog back to KRDU

If Herb agrees to do the transport, I could cut his flight time a bit by flying the pup from West Palm Beach to Kissimmee. It's 120 nm one way and if he is flying down from NC he may not want to add the additional flight time.

Thank you so much! I'll contact him, it's good to have knowledgable folks here!
Jeff, thank you so much for your offer, hopefully this will work out.
This Beardie is sweet (as most are), but doesn't know not to herd the Yorkie puppies in her current home. The current owner has grown resentful of this situation and attempting to curb her instincts with no "good" results. She probably weighs 40-50 lbs (average adult female weight), but I haven't seen her yet.

I am actually flying down to Kissimmee to attend my annual flight simulator training. I am flying down on April 8, and offered to take the Doberman with me. I will be in Orlando until either late April 11, or more likely, early April 12, to return home to RDU. I could potentially bring this dog to Raleigh, but would need to leave Orlando fairly early AM on the 12th to get back to RDU for a birthday dinner for my father. Let me know if this could work for you.

Hi Herb,
How early would you be looking at departing on the 12th? I can leave the Florida Keys at about 7am (which is about 1 hour from West Palm Beach). Figure 1/2 hour on the ground and about 40 min to Kissimmee and that would put me there at about 9:15am.

Thank you both for your generosity. The Beardie would actually travel better in the cooler part of the day, being a "shaggy dog" and all. Let me know when and where she and I on the receiving end need to be.
You're tops!

I think that schedule could work. I want to leave as early as possible to get back to RDU. Temperature will not be a problem since it is cooler at altitude, and we will try to minimize ground time.

I will depart KMTH at 0645 which should put me at F45 North Palm Beach at 0735 (50 min). Figure 1/2 hour on the ground and 40 min. to KISM and I can be at KISM around 0845-0900 depending on the winds. I will try to shave off as much time as I can to help Herb get home at a reasonable hour.
