Frisby is a 2 yr old deaf Border Collie that will be taken in by the Arizona Border Collie Rescue. He is intact and about 40 lbs. The receiving rescue will have him neutered. Very Sweet and Energetic and loves to Cuddle! There are volunteers for the Border Collie Rescue in Phoeix and in Tucson, so he can go to either city He is a healthy boy with health certificate in place, so he's needs to get transfered asap, as his health certificate expires in 10 days. Here is a link to Frisby's photo on Petfinder http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/displa ... d=13302073. Would anyone be able to help this deserving boy get to Arizona? Even if the route goes towards Kansas City then Denver first, that may be doable (even though slightly out of the way). Of course, the most direct route would be best. Thanks All for all that you do for these wonderful furkids and helping to give them a second chance at life and love! Lynn [email protected]

Another thought for transport for Frisby, is to get him from Lexington to Denver and then to Phoenix. Just brainstorming and also looking for driving transports and/or fostering along the way. Any offers and suggestions are most appreciated. Thanks. Lynn

Hello, I live in the Kanas City area, so if you decide to go via the KC route, I may be able to help. Unfortunately I'm not available until the end of the month. [email protected].

I live in the Denver area and could do a KC to Denver or Denver to New Mexico leg.

Thanks Adam. That just might work. I'll keep you posted. I'm waiting to hear from the Border Collie Rescue person. Lynn
Re: DEAF BORDER COLLIE/LEXINGTON, KY TO PHOENIX OR TUCSON, AZ
Hi Adam, Just as I posted the last reply to you, I had an email come in regarding Frisby. He will be arriving in Denver via long distance trucker, Tom Beard, on April 18/19. (Tom is the trucker that brought my Juno to Denver from Missouri back in Feb). If you would be able to fly Frisby to New Mexico or the edge of Arizona, that would be absolutely wonderful! What town exactly were you thinking? Do you have a date in mind? As soon as I get Frisby's Denver contact person, I'll email you their info. Thank you so much for your offer; it's really appreciated. What a guy! Lynn (in Idaho)
