Pups-Springdale, AR - Adel IA ** DONE**

Post by MuttsMom » Wed Apr 29, 2009 3:10 pm

Have 2 border collie pups, probably 3 months old, about 10-15 pounds each needs to get to Iowa, where there's a foster home until the rescue in Canada, can set up land transport for the rest of the trip.

Thanks

Hi Nancy, I would split this trip with someone. I would do the route from Kansas City to Iowa. You can email me directly at [email protected].

I am available to transport the two pups by air. It will take one full day of good weather. Recommend picking them up at Springdale Municipal Airport (ASG) around 0900, fly to Perry Municipal Airport, Perry, Iowa (about 10 miles NNW of Adel), arriving about 1400 (allows one rest stop).

Hi Sara. I'll bring them to Kansas City (my home base) if you'll take them the rest of the way. Could you meet me at GPH?

Hi Nancy, let me know if I can help bring them from Springdale to KC. Either OJC or GPH. Like Sam mentioned we would need 1 day of good weather and I'm not sure when that might happen considering the outlook for next week around this area.

Any time that someone can get the dogs to OJC I have a foster that's set up here until I can get them to Iowa.

Thanks Sam for going way beyond what you offered to do, when you drove down to get the pups, because the weather wasn't safe to fly in. I can't thank you enough!!!

Sarah, thanks so much for offering to help fly these babies to their foster home. The foster home is leaving out of MO on Sunday, to take the ones she already has and the 2 that Sam has, to their rescue.

A rare occurrence has happened. I'm speechless. Sam's wife e-mailed, saying that he's in the air, flying the pups to their foster home in IA. WOW

Sam, great job and thank you for going the extra "miles" to help these pups....this is the best side of humanity and one we should cherish....
