I am available to help with flying the dog to the Kansas City area from about 200 miles out (from between Hays and Salina Kansas) or from Kansas City area to about 200 miles east (to between Quincy and Springfield, Illinois).

I'm based in Denver and would be willing to make the trip to the Hays area for the connection to KC. I am available on weekends only however in June I will not really be able to make this trip. So if we can make it work before or after June, you can count me in.

Adam, let's meet in Phillipsburg, Kansas (PHG). I will carry him from there to Kansas City (GPH). Now all we need are for pilots to step up for the leg(s) to Akron. Hopefully we can pull this off very soon.

Sam and Adam, I'm also based out of KC, and could help with this trip. I like to keep my trips under 200 miles one way. I normally only fly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but I have a foster contact in SLN if someone could get the dog there. Then either Sam or I, could bring the dog back to KC and then the other person, do the next leg East.

Adam, how does Saturday, May 16 look for you bringing the dog to Phillipsburg (PHG)? I could meet you there and bring the dog to Kansas City. Chris or Karen, can you you set up a foster in Kansas City until a flight is arranged east from Kansas City? Would one of you please confirm the breed and weight of the dog? Thanks.
Adam, the only other weekend day I have available in May is Sunday, May 24.

I could make it to PHG this Saturday (16th), weather permitting of course. The first post indicated the dog was only 15lbs. We also need to confirm if this dog what type of restraint this dog will be traveling with (Kennel or Harness). If it's a kennel, I need the size to confirm it will fit. (Which shouldn't be a problem if the dog is 15lbs and we are using the small kennel).

If we can get a foster set up in the Kansas City area, I can do the next leg East. Maybe towards Hannibal?

I'm not seeing any responses from the original poster (Karon) or the two contacts mentioned. It looks like we are in need of a foster home in KC and transportation from approx 150NM East of KC to Akron. Karon, there are some open questions on this transport like dog size, breed and restraining device.

Can you please respond to the thread to let us know where we stand. Do you think you can arrange a foster home in KC by this Saturday? (I sent a private message to Karon as well to see if she would get that email -- perhaps they aren't checking the msg board)

I am new to this wonderful organization so I hope I am doing this correctly. This request needs to be withdrawn. There is an applicant (FINALLY) interested in this little dog. I hope it works out. Thanks to the pilots who have offered and responded. I sent a private email to Sam.
