Hi Kristen,
I am scheduled to bring back a dog that is coming up from IXA (Halifax-North Hampton Regional, North Carolina) and bringing it back to CT on October 14th. If that date works for you, I am meeting a pilot at XSA (Tappahonnock, VA). If you can get them to either location, I will get them to CT.

Hi Ed -
I wish that would work but they have to come up either tomorrow or Saturday. Their current foster is leaving on vacation around 1:00PM Saturday and there is nowhere else for them to go. Not too many people want to foster that many puppies! Thank you so much for responding though!

Kristen:
You can put me down as a tentative to cover a NC - VA leg on Saturday morning. I'm going to check with other pilots I often work with along this route to see who else might be available.
What is the weight of the (6) 7 week old pups? How do you envision everyone traveling together?
Rick

Hi Rick -
The 7 week-old are about 4-5 lbs. They would be able to fit together in a medium-sized crate, I believe. The mom and smaller babies would be able to go into a large crate or pups could go in a medium crate and mom could ride outside. We'd make do with what we can for the short time.

What is their final destination?
Re: Labrador Mom + 13 Pups from Rocky Mount, NC to New Engla
Final destination is flexible because we can get volunteers to drive them legs once they get up close to New England. So White Plains, NY, Bridgeport, CT or some other airport that you can recommend. We would like to get them closer to New England.

Kristen,
I have been communicating with Rick about logistics. I can pick up from Rick in VA and continue to CT, thinking Danbury,CT (KDXR) if that works. Should be shortly afternoon depending on handoff and routing thru NYC airspace.
