DONE by ground: Husky to Jacksonville,FL>Nashville,TN>WI

Weather & a holiday weekend made this a no go so we are reposting.

We are seeking to assist a rescue based in Wisconsin recover a gentle 9-year-old, 90#, Husky that was found running stray in Jacksonville, Florida. Despite microchip the adopters cannot be found so the rescue wants the dog back. There are several options of airports where ground transport can assist getting the dog to an available pilot.
1. Jacksonville, Fl (KVQQ,KHEG,KCRG)
2. Lake City, FL (KLCQ)
3. Valdosta, GA (KVLD)

The recovering rescue has arranged transport from Nashville, TN (KJWN, KBNA, M88) back to Racine, WI. Transport dates are flexible. If anyone can help get this lost boy back to his rescue, PLEASE contact Maureen at maureen_67@sbcglobal.net.

Update:

Looks like there is an offer to fly from 4A9 or CTJ... can anyone help at either point to Valdosta??? See response below:

If the weather cooperates the route looks like:
Scenario "A"
Leg 1 - VLD to OPN
Leg 2 - OPN to 4A9
Leg 3 - Terry & Bill C. - 4A9 to JWN
or
Scenario "B"
Leg 1 - VLD to CTJ
Leg 2 - Terry & Bill C - CTJ to JWN

Keep us posted when you get a commitment for the first 2 legs and we will coordinate the timing and modify the course as required

Good to hear from you! I looked at your requests but the Husky to Nashville looked more efficient for those of us without unlimited budgets. Your name came up at the PnP booth at Sun N Fun, everybody there knew you but none had met you yet, hopefully soon! I'm driving home for the holiday W/E, back to Florida on Monday. I am checked at Plant City Airport for rental, trying to get checked at Dunnellon but it rains (badly needed) every day. Hoping to be able to help out from Florida as well. I thought I would be in Florida over the holiday, offered to help out on a rescue to Sebring, but never received a response from the post and e-mail I sent and I won't be down here after all so we'll try one at home.

Rut Roh. I didn't do it, or I did it or maybe........ lol

I've met one pilot, William and his wife, Pauline, when I transported 2 bc mixes to the airport in Meridianville. It was great to meet them and also to see that part of the rescue process with PNP. We'll definitely meet one day with a transport. Who knows, we might live a block apart and just don't know it.....

I will be flying to Jasper, GA (1.5 hour North of Atlanta) on Friday the 29th (PM) so I could take the Husky that far if this works for you.
Of course, someone will need to get the dog to me on Friday and pick him up in Jasper, GA - KJZP.. Let me know if this is something that will work for you.
