It's crude, but it appears to be working.

This program will locate all transport requests that start, end, or pass within the selected distance to any airport.

That's a pretty useful tool to narrow down the applicable request's.
I'm not sure if you could automate it one more time to automatically break into 2 or 3 segments 300 nautiucal to help out in coupling up pilots for 2 and 3 leg trip rescues?

For now, we'll need to continue to use the 'map this request' link to find other pilots along the route. Automating the routing gets into a number of variables, available equipment being the most troublesome.

Jon W prefers long (500NM) legs with no hand-offs. I prefer 100NM legs, as I am strictly time-constrained, and fly a Cherokee 140 (slow). With that in mind, I really can't arbitrarily specify a 300NM leg, or any other leg for that matter. There's just too much stuff to try to program in. The best I can hope for is to calculate the shortest route from point a to point B with stops at airports with PNP pilots. The next step would to be to notify all pilots within X NM of the route that the request has been made.

This is still pie-in-the-sky stuff, but I can still dream.
