Is this correct so far for Nov. 17?

Leg 1(Bart): Gladewater, TX to Hot Springs, AK

Leg 2: (Still need someone) Hot Springs, AK to Bristol, VA (TRI) (May need 2 legs here)

Leg 3 (Carhonik): Bristol, VA (TRI) to Virginia Highlands (KVJI)

Leg 5 (John): Virginia Highlands (KVJI) to Richmond, VA

Do you guys have an alternative route that would work better? Leg 2 will be long. Know anyone with a fast place that could do Leg 2?

THANKS everyone... being the wife of a pilot (but no plane)... I know how much effort goes into all of this and I SO appreciate all the efforts... just makes me tear up!!

Talked to mechanic. Still awaiting final word on low compression #4 cylinder. Probably OK. Anticipate aircraft annual will be complete early next week. Can do IFR, no ice.

Just reviewing legs. My leg #3 would be Lexington/Parsons to VJI. We might actually fly to CHA area on the 16th and then hook up for flight on the 17th. Open to suggestions for other airports.

I contacted some pilots yesterday along the flight path. I already contacted those in the Leg 2 area. Do any of you know any pilots along the leg 2 flight path that you could contact? If you do, please contact them and see if they can help out next weekend.

I know I am just a backup for the first leg, but I just found out that I have a cracked exhaust system. I will probably be unable to make the trip for three weeks from now.

I am based in Savannah TN (KSNH) just south of Beach River.
I am only available on the 17th or 18th Sat or Sun.
I am VFR only, but I could fly to Hot Springs (KHOT) to meet with Leg 1 and fly back either to (KSNH) or Beach River. We have better fuel prices.
