Carlton is an 11 lb Miniature Aussie pup that is trying to get to his forever home in Orlando FL. If he can get to Tallahasse this weekend, he has a car ride to Orlando.

I will be glad to help you with this transfer. I will be flying to Jasper, GA (1.5 hour North of Atlanta) on Friday the 29th and returning on Sunday PM. KLZU is right along my flight path so I could pick up your little dog on the way back South Sunday afternoon.
Of course, someone will need to get the dog to me at KLUZ and pick him up in Moultrie, GA KMGR or Thomasville, GA which are within 45 mins of Tallahassee, FL. Flight time is 1.2 hours. Let me know if this is something that will work for you.

While planning the possibilty of picking up this pooch Sunday at KLZU I leanred they charge a $25 landing fee. I am not willing to pay this fee. So, I will have to remove my offer to transfer this resuce to Florida...

Many rescuers and adopters would gladly pay $25 to get our pups to their forever home, so dont let that discourage you from helping. In this situation, I believe i have a flight tomorrow for the pup.
