We're looking into rescuing a border collie from the Charleston, WV area, needing to get to Lousiville, KY. Is there a pilot in the Charleston, WV area?

Thanks

Nancy

Thanks John, that would be great. He's a beautiful Border Collie who was about to be put down. Can you e-mail me, MuttsMom04 @ aol.com, of course remove spaces, so I can include the receiving rescue in the e-mails, so we all know what we need to do and the details.

Thanks again!

Thanks SO much to our Sky Angel, John and all the awesome volunteers with Pilots N Paws. Another Border Collie is out of a kill shelter and in the hands of his foster home, headed to his Rescue and forever home.

I just wanted to extend a special thank you to the wonderful pilots who have helped us save two beautiful dogs, Poppy and Toby. Poppy is going into foster care, but Toby has a Mom waiting for him. His new Mom is deaf, and we will be helping her train her new dog (she is naming him Suka) to be a helper. She also wants to train him to play flyball. Life is about to become very exciting for this little guy who was once on death row in West Virginia.
Thanks to two wonderful Sky Angels, these two sweeties will soon be Canadian citizens, and on their way to a happy new home.

Mission completed. Weather was marginal but transport went very well. My friend CJ/ Jill flew their Apache for this transport. CJ got good IFR/Night experience on this transport and I flew the Right seat. Thanks to Debbie in WV for rescuing Toby, you are a great person and Shannon/Cindy for receiving Toby in Kentucky. Toby was a wonderful passenger.
