I can do the second leg, from somewhere in VA (e.g. Tappahannock - XSA) to NYC area. I am available to fly tomorrow, but it's looking like a bumpy/windy day, probably not best for dog's comfort. Are there any special transport considerations for HW+ dog?

No, no special requirements if the dog is not well along with the condition. Right now, the dog was cleared to travel by the vet

Is this request still active? If lumatech is no longer available I'll also volunteer for the northern portion of the trip.

Thank you David, Yes, this is still active. Still working on the first leg, which would be from Pageland Airfield

Ok. I'm available most weeks Friday through Sunday, other days are sometimes possible with a few days advance notice.

Is this dog still waiting to travel? If so how about this:

Instead of doing the northern portion as I had originally offered, I'll fly down to SC and carry him (or her?) back to Baltimore (KMTN). Maybe we can get a transport offer from Baltimore to New York.

Also, I looked at Pageland airfield: it is an unattended airport which means they don't sell fuel. I would need an airport that does, and suggest Cheraw Municipal (KCQW). It appears to be closer to the shelter than Pageland and has all the necessary services.

The weather looks good for both days this weekend and I should be available either day.

So, looking for transport from Baltimore KMTN to somewhere on or near Long Island.

Sounds good. I can do Baltimore to NY on Sunday, weather permitting of course.

Great!

HuskyHouse--are you able to make the arrangements at the sending and receiving airports?
