Additional Info/situation: Hi Pilots! We are looking to move Snoop Dog from his foster home in Huntley, IL to his forever home in Pittsburgh PA (open to 12/1 and 12/8). We have a portion of the transport covered by ground, but we are looking for some assistance from IN to OH. We are flexible on locations and will work around anything that may be more convenient for you. As always, we understand that weather will need to be favorable. Thanks for any consideration!!

My name is MArk Ohlinger, I am based in Akron Ohio and can fly from Akron to Elkhart to pick up the beagle needing to be transported. I can go all the way to Butler PA if that can help out, or anywhere in between. I am a VFR pilot, so the flight would need to be weather permiting. I can do the flight on the afternoon of the 30th, or on Sunday December 2nd.

The second will work for us!! However, we will need to overnight Snoop Dog with a volunteer who lives in Toledo, so if we can do Millbury to Akron, that would be perfect! Since you are based in Akron, we will have someone meet you there to pickup! Since the weather can be an issue, we will work in the interim to have a ground transport in place as a backup in the event you cannot fly. Thanks!!

We do have a backup ground transport plan in place for Sunday in the event weather does not cooperate. I would like to prepare two run sheet ... one using PnP and one using ground. Could you please advise of an estimated drop off time and fly time so I can get the sheets together (if you pass along a cell number as that would be terrific)? I will get everything on paper so everyone has the necessary details.

Hi,
I am a little confused. Do you only need me to fly from Millbury, which I think is is the Toledo area to Akron because someone is driving from Elkhart to Millbury to pick up Snoop? I can fly to Elkhart with no problem. Flight time Akron to Elkhart will be about 1 hr 40 min depending on winds, It is about a 200 NM flight. Akron to Toledo will be about 45 minutes. I can take Snoop further east as well, to Salem OH or Butler PA if that will help. Salem is 2m minutes for me from Akron, and Butler would be about another 10 to 15 minutes beyond Salem. I can do the flight anytime, so what ever works for the group of volunteers will work for me.

We have Snoop staying overnight in the Toledo/Millbury area since we only have volunteers in either Merrillville, IN or Toledo, OH (needed to pick an area and Toledo is closer to you) ... so if you can get him to Akron, Salem or Butler/Zelienople that works for us (thanks!!!). In the event weather does not cooperate we do have something that we can do via ground, but that is the back up if weather does not cooperate! Thanks for all of your help\, please advise accordingly!

Flight time should be 1 hr 10 min.
So assuming I have an hour in Toledo, we should be at Butler at 12:15 or so. All of these times are suggestine, they are very flexible based on everyone’s availability.
