Additional Info/situation: Tanner is usually a mellow dog; however, we tried a PNP mission a few weeks ago and he got so excited seeing the plane that we had to cancel. He loves everyone and has the sweet heart of a lab. He really needs to get to his rescue, so we want to try again. I know he is big, but perhaps some pilots would have a crate big enough for him. Or perhaps a helper could go along to ride by Tanner. The rescue will give him medication this time too so that he stays more calm. He could depart from any airport in the Washington DC area. The best destination airport would be Hartford Brainard Airport (HFD), but any airport in the Hartford, CT area would be fine, including Oxford-Waterbury, CT (OXC). Given the distance, we may need 2 pilots for this mission. If so, perhaps we could do a transfer somewhere in NJ. Please help Tanner if you can! He has been waiting a long time for a ride.

I could take him Sunday. Where around Washington would we want to leave from?

Tim, Thank you for your kind offer to help Tanner on Sunday! Any airport in the DC area is fine. What is your home airport? Please send me a direct e-mail to [email protected]. This way we can have a direct connection for planning this trip.

This PNP mission was completed on Sunday, Jan. 27. Thanks to Pilot Tim for flying Tanner the whole way today! Here's a nice photo of Tim and Tanner taken at the Hartford-Brainard Airport:
