DONE!3 Doberkids, from Cookeville, TN to Paducah, KY

Post by vbrady » Thu Nov 06, 2008 5:48 pm

We have three sweet doberkids (all from high kill shelters) temporarily stashed in boarding in Cookeville TN waiting for a ride to their new beginning! They are all scheduled for spay/neuter and will be ready to fly sometime after Wednesday (Nov 12th) next week.

There is an 18 month old small female about 50 lbs, who's owner threw her away.. :( A very emaciated male two years old about 45 -50 lbs that was also an owner throw away, and one larger male about 60 lbs that was found as a stray and got a repreive from euthanasia at the last minute. If you can help these Dobes get to their destination they would repay you with big Doberkisses. Please let me know if you can help!

As always, thanks to all of you for the great job you are doing!

Vicki,

If it works for next Friday I can take the transport.

I can use my large collapsible crate for the two smaller Dobies if they get along, and use a strap to secure the large one on the rear seat. The flight from KSRB (Sparta) to KPAH is about an our so if they are a little uncomfortable it should be OK.

I will send you an email this weekend or next week with details regarding the schedule, but consider the trip a done deal next Friday.

To prove I am not playing favorites I will wear my pilotsnpaws tee shirt but my DAN baseball cap.

Vicki,

That DAN hat has some serious miles on it already and I have done 6 Dobie flights Florida (2) Pittsburgh (2), North Carolina (1) and Alabama (1) and the hat has been on most of them.
