DONE - Pilot was GREAT!!!!

Hi,
I am new to this board. I work rescue out of Ashland KY and need to get five dogs to safety on 06/06. They are coming from a HIGH kill pound and going to Eleventh Hour rescue in NJ. Ashland has very few airports so I can get them to the Cincinnati OH area for better access. Three are medium sized dogs (40 lbs) and two are small at about 15lbs each. They are sweet - and special (but aren't they all?)....

I couldn't agree more. John has helped me with quite a few Border Collie rescue transports as well as good ole mutts, my favorite (just ask my 6.... ) and is always not only a pleasure to work with and to talk to, but an amazing "sky angel". He was going to take last weekend off, for a long needed break, but when I e-mailed him about helping with a transport, and asked him if he took the weekend off, I wasn't the least bit surprised to hear he hadn't, that he'd done transports.

Thanks to John and all the pilots. Without ya'll, SO many wouldn't have a chance at life.

I don't want to steal any thunder from any pilot, but as a pilot I have to say we would not be doing any transports or saving any animals if it wasn't for the rescues and fosters who pull these animals, nurse them, feed them, and then work hard to find forever homes. It is those folks who live with this effort 24/7 who need to be recognized.

All of you involved in that side of this effort have my deepest respect.
