Additional Info/situation:

Paint is a chow/cattle dog mix that desperately needs a ride to Buffalo, NY

Last March, she was running loose in Memphis, TN with 2 other dogs, believed to be her littermates. Some teenagers spent a few weeks feeding them and earning their trust and eventually caught the 2 females. They named them Feather and Paint. The teenagers wanted to keep them but the parents said no, so they had to surrender them to the animal shelter. Well, the teenagers just couldn't stand it and convinced the one mom to go back and "adopt" Feather and Paint. They kept them at a neighbor's house while they tried to find rescue. No local rescue would help them, but they eventually found a low kill shelter and rescue group in MO to take them. They stayed in the shelter for a few months and their time was up. That's when Chow Chow Rescue of Central New York found out about them. Feather is chowy looking, but obviously Paint is not. However, we could not take Feather and leave Paint there to die, so we rescued both.

Feather has been adopted but Paint still hasn't. She has a better chance at adoption in the north and will be going to a wonderful approved permanent foster home with the potential to adopt. She is very timid and scared meeting new people, but a complete lovebug and goofball when she trusts you.

Can you please help Paint in her quest to find her furever home?

Thank you PNP pilots for all you do!!

If a pilot in the Nashville area could bring Paint up to Columbus, OH, I could pick Paint up there and fly her the rest of the way to Buffalo, NY. Mal, you may want to split this trip up into two legs and repost the first leg to Columbus.

I'm around Nashville and can go as far as Lexington area. If you can find someone to do a middle leg between Mahesh and I, in a three leg trip, I could probably help.

Hi Mahesh & Thomas,

Thank you for your offers to fly Paint!

Mahesh, I did as you suggested and posted a request for the 2nd leg, from Lexington to Columbus, since Thomas offered to fly Paint to Lexington.

Would you both kindly email me so I will have your email addresses. It is a bit easier for me to communicate with you that way since I can use my phone if I'm not home.

Fingers crossed a pilot will respond for the 2nd leg quickley!
