Weather permitting, we should be able to fly Ennis down to Greensboro on Sunday AM if you could meet us at Leesburg airport around 8-9 AM Does that work?

Rick, is this mission going to go on Sunday? If not, Robin, can the family do Saturday instead?

The weather in the Carolinas is a little iffy for Sunday ( chance of thunderstroms and low ceilings). If it doesn't go on Sunday, I was thinking that perhaps next Wednesday would be good, if the sending and receiving parties are available. I am off of work that day and the long-range weather looks good at both ends.

Re: Transport from Herndon, VA to Greensboro, NC
Hi Robin,
The weather forecast is looking potentially good for tomorrow. The issue is that the freezing level at the altitudes that I would be flying is going to be around the Va-NC border. Thus, if I am in the clouds on the northern part of the trip, there may be icing, which I want to avoid. In order to avoid the ice, I may try to fly VFR and go underneath the clouds, but I would need some fairly respectable ceilings of at least 3,000 feet to do that. That's a long way of saying that I really can't be sure yet. I'm waiting for some updated forecasts. Would Wednesday be a possible day for you and Mary Ellen if the weather doesn't cooperate tomorrow?

Wednesday works for me - I am not sure about Mary Ellen - if you could call her or send an email - I am at an adoption event and don't have her info with me at the moment. Thank you so much. Robin
