Guys - I appreciate all of the efforts. Couldn't get anyone to commit, so we got cancelled again. Can we try again next weekend?

Joy,

If it would help, we can fly down from DC area to NC to pick up the dogs on Sat or Sun. We could bring them back to KJYO ( Leesburg,Va) if you could find someone to meet us there and bring them further north.

I actually have a pilot who can fly from KJNX (Smithfield) to West (High) Point in VA,weather permitting, and John may be able to help with the NH to ME portion of the flight. I'll need help with the middle part -- VA to NH. Any ideas on that? Thanks

Also, can you send me your email address so I can keep everyone in the loop as developments occur? Thanks.

Hi Joy,

The weather is looking a little dicey for Saturday. We could probably fly down to West Point on Sunday AM and take the dogs to southern NJ ( say around Atlantic City or Cape May) if someone could go from NJ to NH that day. We have some plans on Sunday afternoon, so we'd like to meet someone there by about 9 AM if possible. My E-mail address is [email protected].

Not sure if 9:00 is doable for Rick Gutlon. He flies out of Durham and usually meets me in Smithfield at 8:30. Let me check. He DOES like to fly on Sunday mornings ...... Thanks, Rick.

Hello,

I'm not sure if this will help you all out, but we would be available this Sunday (03/17) late morning/early afternoon to fly the little guys from KSNC (Chester, Ct) to KEEN (Keene, NH).

We actually got this flight done (sent 8 small dogs up to Norridgewock - had 2 pilots with big planes split the trip).

NOW,we need to get the labs up to Keene, and work on another flight with the Great Pyr boys up to Norridgewock. Up for anything?

Hi Joy,

Glad to know that the little ones made it up!

The labs that need a ride to Keene... how many and how big are they? Would it be for sometime this weekend? If this is doable for everyone, we can take them from KSNC to KEEN.

The Great Pyr boys would be a bit too much dog for my friend's plane, and definitely wouldn't work in my itty bitty cessna. If someone could drop them off in CT, I could drive them up to Worcester, MA.

Right now we're waiting on spay/neuter for the labs, so that flight won't happen for a couple of weeks.

We have the pyrnees boys (2 @ 8o lbs each), 2 lab/pyr boys (@65 lbs each) and 2 lab/flat coats (@50 lbs each) to go to Norridgewock, Maine;

we also have a pekenese male (about 18 lbs) and 4 aussie mix puppies (about 10 lbs eac) who can go to Maine. Just need a week's notice to get health certificates.

Thanks for the update. I'll be around if you need my help with driving or flying, except for the week of April 8th.
