Number of animals being transported: One male puppy named Maxx
Breeds, weight, age: Shepherd/terrier mix, estimated 30 lbs and 10 weeks.
Health Condition: Good
Heart worm Status: N/A
Vaccinations: Current and 2nd round of puppy shots.
Health Certificate: Will have for travel.
Spay/Neutered: Neutered
Special needs: Maxx was born 100% blind; He gets along fine, but it will probably be most comfortable for him if he's crated for the trip.
Name of Sending Rescue/Parties: Tennesee Death Row Dogs, Spring Hill TN
Name of Receiving Rescue/Parties: Approved adopter.
Contact information (publicly viewable on forum): Leslie Eyster, [email protected] and 910-297-7446
Are you a 501c3: Tennessee Death Row Dogs is a 501c3.
Additional Info/situation: Maxx is completely blind. Tennessee Death Row Dogs has found a wonderful forever home for him in Danbury CT. The group is hoping that Maxx can get flight transport or maybe join a planned flight as they feel Maxx will do best in not having the stress of a long ground transport journey. Please let us know if you can help!

4/17/2013 Update- We're trying to get Maxx from TN to Charleston SC on the weekend of 4/20 or 4/21. From there, he can catch a flight to CT!

Thanks Leslie

Hi Charlie,

Hope you're doing well! I may have located a pilot that could transport Maxx from TN into MA sometime within the next few days. I'm waiting to hear back from him as to exactly when and where. As soon as I hear, I'll let you know. He's going to MA to pick up a new plane and it should be anytime in the next 3-5 days.

If all falls into place, would you be able to transport Maxx from MA to CT?

If you have an email address, can you send this to me at [email protected] so I can link everyone up via email?

Thank you so much for your help!

Thanks,
Leslie

Hi Leslie,

Yes, I can fly Maxx from MA to CT. My email is: [email protected], but I've found it better to keep all messages and posts on the main Topic Board. So much gets lost in translation by private messages and the other pilot's don't have the benefit of keeping up to date.

Thanks,
Charlie Malo

Hi Charlie,

Hope you're doing well. We should know this week about the other pilot's schedule. He'll be ready once his new plane passes inspection. I'll keep you posted.

Hi Charlie,

The first leg pilot might be able to make the trip up on April 17th or 18th to Morristown, NJ.

I know this is during the week, so not sure of your schedule.

Just let me know if you think you're available.

Thanks,
Leslie
