I could do this one this weekend weather permitting! I fly out of Long Beach and can fly to Livermore probably Saturday. Let me know if your pup needs a lift.

sounds like a plan John! We can get her to Long beach Saturday no problem. You let me know time to meet and we will have her there. Do you have a crate? If not we could probably bring one to you. It's up to you . I like to have them in crates if possible ...but depending on configuration of your plane (and other dogs flying) you know what is best.
Let's hope for good weather and touch base in the next couple days to confirm.

Thanks so much
Michelle

Hi Michelle,

Don't have a crate for that size of dog, but I could pick up one I saw at the pet store that I think would fit him nicely according to the photo. So if you have one that is not too oversized for the dog, would be very helpful. I will touch base with you tomorrow.

John I know PNP is always willing to provide a crate . I thnk they can overnight to you . So you may want to request one ( plastic airline type) that fits your plane nicely and can accommodate a dog 25-40 lbs .

Yes we can touch base . Either way we can certainly get a crate whether PNP sends you one, you pick one up or I bring one.
You may have something special in mind . We can talk about it.

Thanks
Michelle

John - I have a crate you can borrow, but I'll need it back by next weekend for the flyway event. I would also want to review the dog's paperwork to verify free of disease. I can fly under IFR, if necessary, barring ice conditions.

Michelle, Got it. Thanks for the crate offer Jason, but I've got that covered now. Another Long Beach pilot, would like to meet one of these days as I'm an ifr pilot as well. ( I'm going to be away on the weekend of the flyaway though, but that sounds like great fun!
