I can get these guys to Bainbridge, GA. They may be able to foster until a connecting pilot can transport. The dates are still flexible as I am still looking to move a few more pups north.

Hi Jeff!

That would be great if we can work it out! It looks like the other dog you need to pick up is on the other side of Florida. Do you want me to look for a way to get the pups there so you can pick them up or are you able to do both. But that 's a lot to ask so let me know your thoughts. It was nice chatting with you and thanks for all the help!

If you could get the dogs to Lakeland, FL that would help. We can ask if the people in Lakeland can foster until the day of the transport by air. I will be contacting Bainbridge about fostering the dogs until the next leg of their trip.

Do you have a day in mind yet for the transport?

I am working on several transports, but the rescue in Lakeland is willing to foster your two pups until I arrive to move them north. I expect the move to take place sometime early next week. It would be helpful if we had other pilots standing by to continue on to IL. The Bainbridge shelter is willing to foster the pups, but we do not want to leave the other end of the transport open ended.

Alicia,

Presently, I have the first three weekends of July open for transports. I also have the entire week of July 12-18th open. As you know, there are many transport requests floating around on any given day. That fact, coupled with personal commitments that may develop, limit my ability to guarantee that these dates will remain open. I live in West TN between Memphis & Nashville. If you could put a route together that would swing further west than Chattanooga, I could spend more flight time moving the rescues north instead of transiting across the state to pick them up. Usually I transport to the northern Kentucky area, but can stretch it out if needed. Trip length starts getting uncomfortable at the 3 hour (one way) mark. That would put me around the 350 mile mark depending on winds. Keep me informed as your plan develops.

Hi Brent,
I could probably move the transport a little west if needed. I have a pilot who is willing to get the pups to Bainbridge, Ga early next week. My only problem with that is that it is during the week so I will need to find a foster there or see if I can get them a little more north and finish everything that weekend. Then my only other problem with that is that Saturday is Fourth of July. But hopefully I can find some pilots willing to fly then present company included :) But I will keep you posted and please let me know if you are willing to fly the weekend of the fourth since it is sounding like that could be the weekend we will need to finish transport.

Thanks for all the help.
