Bailey Puppy Lundington, MI to Joliet, IL to Iowa border ..

Postby atrulli on Sat Jun 15, 2013 4:06 am

Thank you to Pilots N Paws -- Kevin and Justin you made this happen on the second leg... KUDOS to you both... and to Erika for spoiling her... She is in Iowa and everyone is thrilled with her...

Due to the weather on Saturday, Bailey got stuck in Michigan. The plans to fly her over the Lake changed Saturday night for Monday late afternoon. So, I am looking for someone to fetch her from Lundington/Mason Airport in Michigan and fly her to around the Chicago, IL area on Monday... where they will meet Justin who has been so kind to offer to take her closer to Iowa.

Adoptive Mom could meet close to Iowa border -- into IL or WI.. to make this happen.

THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Thank you so MUCH...

Charlie from Green Bay will get her to Middleton, WI on Monday (6/17) early evening...

For Monday:
Depart KGRB at 4:10pm.
Arrive at KLDM at 4:55pm.

Depart KLDM at 5:25pm.
Arrive at C29 at 7:00pm Middleton, WI (central day light time)

Assuming weather is ok (e.g. no thunderstorms)

Can I get your cell phone number to give to him. Also, can you email me a picture of your plane atrulli@aol.com, so I can share it with the adoptive Mom, Lesley.

Again, thank you... so much...

I heard back from Charlie from Green Bay, WI -- when he mapped this out for me, it is indicating Justin -- you would not arrive back to your base until after dark (after 9:00 p.m) or sunset by 45 minutes just going to Dubuque. Charlie can't make it any sooner, he is doing this after he gets off work.

My foster home in Michigan have extended their time to foster to two nights, with taking off work early on Monday to meet Charlie.

Thank you so much, this is also depending on the weather for the trip.

Justin -- is there anyway you could take a leg this week, even if we have to go down the east coast of Lake Michigan and over to Iowa? If I can get another pilot?

I'm available basically all day tomorrow. Where would I need to pick up Bailey?

Thank you Justin,

I need to find someone to bring Bailey down the east coast of Lake Michigan.. where would she need to be and for you to still make it to the Iowa border, I think it would be Dubuque??

Thank you... I may need to change the post to read Lundington/Mason to Indiana or Illinois... ???

Justin, here is what it could look like on skyvector.. thanks to Charlie.. http://skyvector.com/?ll=41.67834824508 ... :A.K3.KDBQ

I sent you a pm with Kevin's information in it... can you post a picture of your plane that I can share with Lesley? Tail number?

Lesley will pick up in Dubuque, IA... or where ever you need her... She will probably be on the road by the time you pick up, but will have her cell phone.

Will the 8:00 a.m. (central time) work to pick up at Michigan City, Indiana for you? This time works best for Kevin and the foster parent (so she can do it before work)... even though your offer came in first for the second leg.

Thank you so much.
