Hello Road Warriors,
Got a big’un cruising up 81 this weekend.. Bunches of babies.. Gonna come out 2 cars wide the whole way…. I need a Driver #1 and a Driver #2 for each leg unless you can fit 3 medium crates and 3 tethered dogs in your vehicle… These guys were left behind last time because they all started coughing.. It’s been 2 weeks now and they are ready to roll…If we can’t get two drivers per leg but manage one per leg we will leave some behind this week and reschedule for July 18th… LET ME KNOW WHO YOU CAN CARRY..
DRIVER #1 CARRYING 2 MED CRATES AND PENNY
DRIVER #2 CARRYING 1 MED CRATE AND SPIRIT & MIDNIGHT
SPIRIT AND MIDNIGHT ARE ON THIS RUN. THEIR DAD IS DYING..I WOULD LOVE TO BE ABLE TO TELL HIM HIS DOGS ARE SAFE BEFORE HE DIES. HE LOVED THEM THE MOST IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD. THEY WERE ALL HE HAD..

Please let me know as soon as you can if you can drive a leg or two.... Include in your offer your drivers info even if you think I have it..Saves time..I am working on many ports and love to save time when I can...
Also, leave the subject line intact so I know which port to look on for the legs you are offering...
As always, thank you for what you do..You are the lifeline of out of state rescue..

PLEASE CONTACT ME DIRECTLY AND PROVIDE:
You may think this is a lot of information for just driving a orphan pet. It is needed for a reason. #1. If you are in an accident we can help notify your people
#2. If the animal becomes sick or injured we can tell you an emergency hospital in route.
#3 Animals have been stolen off route by unscrupulous people. This is needed to prove to the next driver you are the correct person to hand off to.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR OWN DOG ON THIS TRANSPORT. If any of these dogs break with anything your dog will be exposed!!! We do our best to make sure the dogs are healthy but even quarantined dogs can break with Kennel Cough because of the stress of the transport..
******************************************************************
THE FINE PRINT: As a volunteer transport coordinator, I am dependent on what the senders tell me about our passengers' temperaments, The very nature of rescue transport creates some risk for those who participate in it; even a good-natured dog may find it stressful to be passed from stranger to stranger and cooped up with unfamiliar dogs, and in consequence may act in uncharacteristic ways. Neither I nor anyone associated with this transport can accept liability for any accidents or incidents that may occur during the transport. If you wish to adopt a dog you have driven you must go through regular channels. No dog leaves this transport..
