Sounds like a plan. Saturday weather looks okay on the southern legs ... but let's keep our eye on things and reconfirm Thursday. I will put together a contact sheet and send around in the next day or so.

It'd be a lot easier, if in the future, ALL correspondence stays here on the main post. Way too many seperate emails for my liking otherwise.

Gang - sorry things did not work out today. We launched out of Durham at 6:45AM ... conditions at the time were pretty nice. Ten minutes out of Louisburg we hit a solid layer of clouds 1000 ft AGL and AWOS on the field was reporting less than 2 miles visibility (it was 5 when we left). Circled the area hoping things might burn off and a hole would open ... but no luck. The warming terrain was releasing too much moisture and the overcast layer just got thicker as we waited overhead. None of this was as forecast otherwise would have suggested Carol drive up and meet us at the originating airport.
Sunday could be challenging for us VFR guys. I can arrange to take off early one morning next week. Looking at the entire route Tuesday looks like a better bet than Monday. What is everyone's thoughts?

As I had mentioned earlier, I'll be out of town for the entire week - expecting to return on Aug. 4th.
Sorry.
Sorry.

I will send out requests to other pilots I've worked with in the area and see if we can find someone to fill the VA -> NJ (KXSA -> KVAY) leg.

Good news! We have a pilot for the VA -> NJ leg to replace Gary.
Wes Hughes (based at 2W5 Indian Head, MD) will meet me in VA for the second leg. He'll then meet Mark @ KVAY around 11:15, but waiting for Wes to confirm flight time in his Archer.
I have confirmed sending and receiving parties are available on Tuesday, so all looks like a go. If anyone has run into a conflict please advise asap.

Rick, Are we using the same time schedule sheet as the one for last Saturday?

Yes - it looks like everyone's flight time's are pretty much the same. Ground transfers should go pretty quickly given the number of dogs. Mark may be able to fine-tune his timing back into OXC if he's able to leave KVAY +- 12:15. Carol confirmed she is able to meet you in Sanford +- 3PM.
