Hi Lorene,

I could take them from Knoxville (Downtown Island airport KDKX would be my preference) to Baltimore (Martin State KMTN) in one leg on Sunday, 8/18. Would that work?

Thank you for your kind offer to help, David. Let me check with the leg 3 pilot and see if this could work. How long would the flight time be from Knoxville to Baltimore?

Got it. Thanks. Just sent a note to the "leg 3" pilot. I'll let you know as soon as I hear back from her.

Ok. Just FYI, I have three crates, one large and two medium. I'm thinking we could put the four Jacks in the large one and split the six labs between the two smaller ones. As for timing: I'll know better by Saturday, but I expect I could be at Knoxville by noon on Sunday.

Hello again, David. I just heard back from the other pilot and she is not available on Sunday afterall, so Sunday won't work for this mission. However, I was able to fill the for Saturday with a pilot out of Knoxville, one out of Leesburg and the 3rd pilot out of Poughkeepsie, so it looks like this mission will go on Saturday providing the weather cooperates. Thank you again for your kind offer. Catch you another time.

This mission was completed on Saturday, Aug. 17 and all 10 puppies are now in foster homes at their receiving rescue. Thanks to PNP Pilot Jerry and Pilot Nina for helping these puppies along their way and giving them such a nice ride!
