Additional Info/situation: A young, orphaned Curve-billed Thrasher was "kidnapped" from some vacationers in AZ and brought to our wildlife hospital in MN for further care. Since this is not a MN native bird, it needs to go back down South for release. It needs to go to either Phoenix area or Albuquerque (or really anywhere in between), and can be released anywhere there is dry, scrubby desert land. The final pilot can do the release!

A pair of Curved-bill Thrashers live in an ornamental cactus in my lawn. Others live in the area. They are a lot like Mocking birds and have a good song. I live in las Cruces, NM and could fly the last leg (back to my home base) if you can get the bird within 300-400 nm of Las Cruces.

Great to know! Thank you! Having him released where there are other Thrashers would be fabulous!
