I have business that could take me past Chicago this week (not sure which day).

It would be no problem for me to bring your pup to you.

I'm not too keen on O'Hare. Is there any way that he might be bought to DuPage(KDPA) or Lewis University (KLOT)?

If this is OK, please send me the contact info and I'll respond when I know what my schedule is.

Dear Mark,
The pilot who has offered to bring Krypto from LAX to Chicago can't
do it until next week as she is attending a seminar this week. I'm not
sure what kind of pilot she is, but I know her name is Sue and her
handle or ID is Ladyflier. She is going to contact me when she gets
back and was going to show me how to email pilots in the area I
need to get Krypto from and to. As far as the other two airports
you mentioned, I'm not familiar with them, but hopefully Sue is.
What you guys do is amazing and generous, there are not enough
people like you in the world. After seven years of hell, and not too
many people like you, you have restored my faith in humans ability
to stand up and help. When they get done puttng me back together
enough to be able to physically do things, I will spend the rest of my
life volunteering. Kind of paying it forward. I did spend half my life
working as a Licensed Veterinary Technician, and doing things above
and beyond what was required because it gave me joy to help.

Thanks most sincerely,
Kathy Schrieber

Hello Kathy,

Just keep me posted about when he could be ready in the Chicago-land area and I'll find a way to fit it in.

Typically, we little-guys don't like to use the bigger airports. I expect the woman flying from California will feel the same way.

When we get to that point I would likely want to meet you at maybe Monroe Custer airport instead of Metro.

I hope we can reunite you with your puppy soon.

Regards,

kschrieber

is 707-374-4411 and her email is [email protected]. Would like to try to coordinate transfer.
Thanks, Kathy

Hi Kathy,

I'll call her today. I have unfortunately contracted a head-cold which will delay any flying for me for a little while.

Regards,
Mark

ATTENTION Pilots and Volunteers......Krypto and I will be flying AA to Ord Thur Oct 24. We need a volunteer in the Chicago area to meet me and overnight Krypto and take him to Mark Friday, at one of the outlying airports, for a flight back to Detroit, to be reunited with his mom after 14 months!

Hello Sue, I can meet you at ORD on 10/24. Mark, do you have a plan for Friday yet? I base at Chicago/Schaumburg (06C) which is closest to my house and Northwest Flyers, the FBO, is very pet friendly. Does that work for you?

Hello Michael,

Schaumburg will work for me. Let's wait until maybe Wednesday morning to evaluate weather to see if Thursday afternoon or Friday morning is better. Thanks for handling the transfer!
