Carol - just adding a post to this thread per the exchange we are having re: automated "Topic Reply Notifications" and the change in behavior some of us have noticed since September.

Carol - never received the reply notification ... but have a feeling the outbound mail is no longer in the queue.

From some digging I have an inkling as to what's going. I looked at the header of the last Topic Reply Notification I received. As of this morning, two of the IPs included in the routing (74.208.4.195 & 70.114.22.131) are both on RBLs (with one on the SpamHaus Zen list - which for my clients' mailservers would mean an immediate discard of the mail).

In addition, the PnP forum mail is failing DMARC authentication and it looks like your SPF & DKIM records could use a little fine-tuning.

When you combine the above with other rulesets its possible certain mail hosts (including gmail) are periodically passing the mail directly to the "bit bucket" and not even bothering with delivery.

I have a feeling addressing the above will resolve the issue.

Carol & Rick - did you get a notif on this post today? Around 5:24pm EST.

The mail queue is pretty thick, but made a few tweaks that will hopefully bring it down and get quicker.

Hi Mike - as of Wed 7:30am EST no sign of the email.

Is it still in the queue? Does the delivery log show any type of attempted delivery and that was deferred (and retries are now following a standard schedule)?

Rick,
Crazy. The queue has nothing waiting for you to go out.

The mail log did send something last night:
2013-10-15 18:18:14 u49613419 3oCtTH-1VEwwE2HGl-00IXQY => xxxx msmtp.perfora.net[172.19.143.3] 250 Message 0MNZoo-1VQ88h2ZZa-006rRO accepted by mrus4.perfora.net

Lets make sure gmail isnt hiding it..

can put these in your search and see what you get:
in:spam pilotsnpaws
in:trash pilotsnpaws
in:all pilotsnpaws

I'll also email this to you :-)
