I can fly him up there Thursday afternoon (23rd) or Saturday. I may even have a crate I can use if he's just 10lbs.

Hi Marty, Steven and Randy,

Thank you for responding. i will email NYACC and see when the can release Macy. Pet Rescue Inq is running middle man here and picking up Macy from NYACC and she will be going to Union, CT and they said Bradley airport was the closest. This is a direct adopt and the new owner will meet you in Springfield, VT.

Please, email me at [email protected] and let's hammer out the quickest way to spring this girl to freedom. She was saved with literally minutes to spare.

Terri

A couple of things:

1) Many, many times, people who are not familiar with General Aviation have no idea that there may be a much closer "small" airport that is much closer to them. In this particular case, Union, CT is very close to the airport at Southbridge, MA (3B0) (11.9 miles per Google maps vs. 41.7 miles to Bradley).

2) It looks like Hartness State airport (KVSF) is the closest to Springfield, VT. It is only a few miles North West.

3) I can do this flight Sunday, if needed.

Hi Iceman1007

You are correct on both accounts, Hartness is Springfield and I corrected the zipcode to Windsor as we now know the poodle will be in South Windsor.

We do need a back up for Sunday in case the weather is too bad for Marty. Will this work for you?

Hi Terri, I'm back up and running now if you need me. I'm not weather dependent as you know.
