Decatur, AL (35603) to St. Charles, MO (63301)

I have a four year old Doberman who was found shot along the side of the road in Alabama and taken to a vet by a good citizen. He has healed well but needs to be moved from Decatur, AL to Midwest Doberman Rescue in St. Charles, MO as soon as possible. The vet says he must be out by this weekend or he will be taken to an area shelter. I don't want to see him go through all this just to end up at a shelter. All ground transports all full. Can any one help?

I will be in Decatur tomorrow AM dropping off dogs and will be flying back to Covington, TN empty and will be willing to bring the Dobbie back with me to meet lightwt somewhere in SE MO to bring the dog onto St. Charles. The Dobbie would just be rideing in the back seat so I would like to know his temperament. Also, tomorrow looks VFR.
I will need all contacts for Decatur and lightwgt (cell phone). Also for Debra.
