I did receive your PM. I also received an email from another pilot with whom I may split the trip: he from Ohio to Leesburg, VA and me from Leesburg to Prince Frederick, MD. One or both of us will likely be in touch soon.

Greetings,
I regularly fly into 2G2 (my wife Tammy Noonan has even visited the shelter and made a donation). We will fly into Jefferson County in the morning (Saturday 02 November) and run a couple of errands. We are anticipating taking-off about 13:00 enroute to Leesburg (KJYO). We transfer the dog to Darrin about 14:45 for the final leg to Prince Frederick, MD. I am flying IFR, so our progress can be tracked on http://www.flightaware.com (tail number N8373Y). Our alternate means of communication are: 703-201-6133 (my cell) 703-217-7721 (Tammy’s cell) 703-796-6855 (home) and 740-282-9126 (Steubenville contact).
Darrin, you can have one of my harnesses to use (you may want to bring a plastic sheet and towels or blankets for the dog’s comfort. You will really enjoy your leg because you get to experience the joy that the receiving party has for the dog. Remember your camera.
Being as this is your first flight here are a couple of links you may find entertaining. Note the excellent airmanship landing the C-182 in the second clip and the debonair aviator talking in the 3rd clip ;-)

Everything looks good. Some possibility of IMC, but that is why we stay current. Our progress can be followed on the internet (see previous posting) and we will give you a call before departing 2G2. We park on the north ramp, a very short walk to the FBO, so we will meet you/wait for you in the lobby. I always request approach to give me a PD or slow descent (especially if coming out of high altitudes) for comfort of the dog. I suspect for your short leg and Class B, you will not go high enough for it to be an issue. We look forward to seeing everyone one on Saturday.
We can stop in at the shelter after we land (about 10:30) to see if you want us to get the dog or if you want to bring him to the plane about 12:45.
