Re: ** Rescue Dogs* KY to MN (KFCM)
I can get some of them to KHUF. We will have to see how many dogs each of the pilots can carry to decide who goes. Mike
So first leg KAAS to KHUF

Hi Laura, Mike's homebase is in KY. He just posted that he would like the transfer point for the start of leg two to be KHUF. Would you be able to do the last leg? If so, where would you like it to start? Also, what is your availability and what doggies can you fit? Thank you!

Re: ** Rescue Dogs* KY to MN (KFCM)
Joyce, what about the dogs. Of course they all look sweet but who can ride together. I can fit one large crate and two medium crates in the plane. The large crate could hold both the shep mixes if they can ride together. The 30# lab could ride in one of the medium crates. That leaves the little dogs and one medium crate. If one of the dogs is well behaved I dont mind them riding co-pilot. I understand not all of the pilots may feel this way so we will have to reach a consensus. I am willing to all I can to get all aboard! Mike

Re: ** Need Legs 2 & 3: Rescue Dogs* IN (KHUF) to MN (KFCM)
The only dogs that can be crated together would be the small pups. IF you have a metal crate with divider then we can get two of the bigger girls in that. Otherwise we could try to locate a crate with divider that can be borrowed. Also I have divider panels that are for 24" 30" and for a 48" if any of those would be helpful. I think the Shep girl can fit in the large the other two bigger dogs in the mediums if I could find you a small cat carrier crate for the pups could you get that to fit and have the last remaining tethered? Of course we will have to wait and see how many the other pilots can fit in this flight.

I no longer have access to an airplane, but I can help drive approximately 100 mile radius of St. Louis. I am not available March 16-28.

Re: ** Need Legs 2 & 3: Rescue Dogs* IN (KHUF) to MN (KFCM)
I'm available weekends except for Saturday March 15. I can fly to KHUF, but if you find someone for a middle leg that would be great. I have one large crate (fit a bloodhound in it once) and a small crate (came with my corgi). The large crate is plastic and can't be divided. My personal minimums are that all dogs are in crates unless I have a copilot. If the trip starts to firm up I'll look around and see if I can find one.

Re: ** Need Legs 2 & 3: Rescue Dogs* IN (KHUF) to MN (KFCM)
Laura, thank you! Can you please hold your next available weekend 3/22 for us? There are more dogs needing transport including a golden retriever for this same rescue that will be off hold by then.
We are still hoping to fill the transport for Thursday 3/13 or Friday 3/14. We have been reaching out to more pilots. All offers greatly appreciated. If anyone can help transport from KHUF to KFCM on Thursday or Friday, please reach out to us. Thank you. Joyce and Kat
